We are living in a time of great confusion and chaos.
It’s source in most instances, is created by the contradictory or conflicting, desires, wishes, thoughts and feelings in life which can often make you feel frustrated, hopeless and in extreme cases, angry.
Psychologists refer to this phenomenon as cognitive dissonance; the state of having inconsistent thoughts, beliefs, or attitudes, especially as relating to behavioural decisions and attitude change.
There is a constant battle within us between the spirit’s wisdom and the ego’s wants. Love versus fear. It’s a warfare between truth and illusions.
These constant oppositional forces can make life feel emotionally chaotic.
You want one thing, yet your actions conflict.
You say you feel prosperous, yet you live in fear.
You want a desired outcome, yet your motives are mis-aligned.
The root of all inner conflict comes down to one thing – perception.
And, until that perception is changed, you will remain trapped in an illusion of a never-ending cycle of suffering.
Because, we live in a world of cause and effect.
Cause being thought, and effect being the manifestation of thoughts, feelings and actions.
A Course in Miracles says,
“Every thought you have contributes to truth or to illusion; either it extends the truth or it multiplies illusions. You can indeed multiply nothing, but you will not extend it by doing so.”
We must first understand that we live in an orderly, elegant, simplistic, cosmically synchronistic, harmonious, Universe and that we are One with this Universe.
Chaos and confusion then, is the first sign of not being in alignment with the Universal laws and is a call for healing and course-correction in order to realign oneself.
The beauty of it all, is that you can begin the path to healing your inner conflict by inviting the loving guidance of spirit in your life by asking one courageous question:
What am I not willing to see?
This question works like a charm in meditation, for the truth likes to pop out right in between those milliseconds of thought streams.
I must warn you that this question is only for the brave souls who want to live a life of deeper purpose and meaning.
When you surrender to the spirit’s wisdom, the inner teacher otherwise referred to as your higher self within you will emerge and guide you to greater clarity, inner peace, and clear perception.
A clear mind filled with love and truth will lead to a beautiful life that flourishes and sustains itself and will lead to a life of deeper meaning and fulfillment.
For the quality of your life is only reflected to the degree of how willing you are to ask life’s most profound questions.
To deeper truth & clarity,
